The Digital Merchandising Manager will assist the Senior Manager in overall E-commerce business and deliver sales/profit for Global Brands Americas portfolio of brands including retailer websites, e-tailer pure plays and brand e-commerce site(s). Must have a proven track record in working within a team that delivered a successful E-commerce business that maintained significant YOY growth by driving consumer acquisition.  This position sits within Sales working collaboratively with brand marketing, the Integrated Communications Center of Excellence, customer marketing, supply and finance.   • Own the digital merchandising project management for all brands on and e-commerce including compiling and optimizing attribute forms and developming digital merchandising PDP assets where gaps may exist from Global engagement packs
  • Assist in online seasonal and promotional activity across brand e-commerce and ensuring trading calendars and promotions are complementary and not competing with each other
  • Develop and deliver all site content to e-commerce and partners for upload
  • Develop and project manage all ratings & reviews programming on owned + working with vendors (like BazaarVoice, Influenster) for on time and in full delivery of reviews for new and existing products
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly hindsight reporting results and progress against sales targets across all E-commerce business (, pure-play and brand e-commerce) + E-Commerce Site(s)

  • Serve as a key liaison between the business and technical teams to implement new site functionalities and enhancements
  • Update and manage brand .coms in conjunction with Global counterparts and agencies where relevant creating and implementing a content plan consistent with brand calendars and activities (including microsite development, landing pages, etc)
  • Partner with Global counterpart on CRM strategy, planning and implementation for the Americas
  • Plan and co-ordinate digital asset development, delivery and implementation for key new product launchs for owned brand digital channels (web, email, paid social ads)
  • Monitor and report on digital performance for implemented tactics and campaigns Sites

  • Maintain activity calendars and sales/business trackers
  • Maintain a system for tracking retailer deadlines and project statuses, following up with cross-functional teams as necessary
  • Coordinate logistics in preparation of launches and other special programs
  • Liaise with Retail Marketing to ensure timely submission of web assets to retailers
  • Assist in conducting final user testing and quality assurance processes on all new pages, mobile applications, e-mails, etc. and flag issues to Manager as necessary
  • Routinely check product pages to monitor ratings and reviews
  • Write and submit creative project briefs as needed
  • Occasional resizing and renaming of digital asset files for delivery to retailers
  • Help compile information for presentations
  • Other misc. administrative support as needed


  • Proven experience and track record of success in Digital Communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing or Communications.
  • Beauty/retailer, online marketing, or ecommerce experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of omni-channel retail business and ecommerce best practices
  • Experience with retailers in specialty/multi space e.g. Target/ULTA a plus
  • Broad understanding of social channels, tactics, and paid social media tactics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, resourceful, with a can-do attitude
