Commercial and Marketing

Our Commercial and Marketing team has built a unique brand building methodology based on our consumer focus. We work with our insights teams to identify challenges that consumers face every day and then find products in our existing portfolio, or create new products, that solve these problems for them and grow brands on a global scale.

Innovation is what makes us different. We design and create products before consumers realize they need them. For decades our Healthcare teams have created market-leading products to allow our consumers to feel their best every day. For our Beauty teams, it’s about helping everyone, from the beauty obsessed to those just getting started, find new ways to look and feel great.

Once we know the product, it’s all about getting it to the customer. To achieve this, our Brand Activation teams work closely with our Global Brands Operations teams to get these products on store shelves all over the world.

Susan Marczak Senior Director, Sales Global Brands Americas

I have been able to take my Target experience and learnings to help elevate our partnerships and drive growth with more accounts.  It’s an exciting and  fast pace environment showing great potential for growth, but honestly, it’s the people.  I couldn’t have asked for a better team.  They work so hard but know how to laugh and have fun at the same time.  I think I could say the same for all the cross-functional teams we work with.  We are one big family.

Munnawar Chishty VP & Global Category Director Skincare Global Marketing

I joined the company in February 2019 to lead the global skincare portfolio. My role is very varied from global brand development to innovation. I have the privilege to lead a team of highly talented and motivated individuals managing an envious portfolio of brands including the iconic No 7 brand to the cult Liz Earle brand.

We work to develop brands on a global scale, working with leading global communications agencies to develop breakthrough creative that engages with our audience in a relevant, engaging and timely way. We partner with our insights teams to identify consumers’ needs and then working with our R&D and operations teams develop products to help solve these needs for them. Global brands is very entrepreneurial, this coupled with the fact that we are part of a face paced retail organisation you never know what each day will bring, which makes it a very exciting place to work.

Stephanie Hegarty Brand Manager, Soap & Glory Global Brands Americas

I joined Boots back in 2015 as the Assistant Brand Manager on No7. In my almost 4 years at the company I’ve seen our brands evolve at an exponential rate. Having started on No7 I then moved to our naturals brands, where I contributed to the re-launch of Botanics. Following that I joined Your Good Skin where my team launched the clinically proven, community-based skincare brand into the US market.

In September 2017 I joined the fierce and fabulous Soap & Glory team where I am now the Brand Manager for Skincare & Cosmetics. Working on multiple brands has allowed me to share best practices and explore different categories in the market. I cannot wait to show our consumers what Soap & Glory has to offer!
